We had the pleasure of joining lots of other charities at the weekend for the Tesco Community Day. The Tesco Extra Community Champions, Jane and Karen, were celebrating 15 years of the store being open by highlighting all the charities they support in our community and the work they do.
We receive a regular donation of a trolley full of food and any other bits and bobs we may need from them and Jane and Karen have nominated us to receive the funding from the charity book table in store. I know they work with so many charities regularly as well as lots who they support intermittently through the year and are a huge asset to Chesterfield.
Thank you so much for inviting us! We had a lovely day raising awareness for Pathways, all the other charities and the work the Community Champions do.
