International Volunteer Day was created to heighten awareness of the important contribution of volunteer service to socio-economic development activities, it also was established to motivate people from all walks of life to offer their services as volunteers, both at home and abroad.

Each year, hundreds of millions of people volunteer their time and skills to help improve the lives of others and make the world a better place. When they volunteer, they also gain a greater sense of belonging to their communities.

We would like to thank our current volunteers and those who in the past have given their time to Pathways. The thanks extends to those who have volunteered by fundraising and those that regularly give.
