Working together is so important when supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community đź’›
I recently met Terry from the Salvation Army Church, who has set up a warm space with access to showers—and this is huge for us. While we’ve been able to refer people to warm spaces before, we haven’t been able to refer anyone somewhere they can shower since before COVID.
This now means people sleeping rough can come in on Wednesdays, 4–7pm, for a warm meal, hot drinks, a proper shower, and clean clothes and underwear. All of this is made possible by the incredibly kind hearts of the church community.
We’ve dropped off some of our rucksacks at the church, ready to give to those who need them most. Being able to share information, resources, and support—and work towards one goal—really does make a difference. Working together to make people’s lives a little better💙✨
