A Clearer Future: Our New Partnership with Specsavers Chesterfield & Matlock
At Pathways, we’ve always believed that true support means caring for every aspect of a person’s well-being — and that includes physical health. Over the years, we’ve built strong links with GPs, dentists, sexual health workers, and recovery teams, all helping us provide holistic support to those who need it most.
Now, we’re thrilled to add a brand new and incredibly valuable service: free eye tests and glasses, thanks to an amazing partnership with Specsavers Chesterfield & Matlock!
For many of the people we support, the idea of booking an eye test — let alone paying for glasses — can feel completely out of reach. Cost, anxiety, and lack of confidence often stand in the way. But thanks to this generous collaboration, our service users will now have access to private clinics tailored specifically to them — completely free of charge.
This is more than just a health service. It’s a gift that brings dignity, independence, and opportunity. Being able to read again, join in with creative groups, fill out their own forms, or simply see the world more clearly — it will change lives in ways both big and small.
A huge thank you goes to Allissa at Specsavers Chesterfield, whose empathy and thoughtful planning made this possible. She truly understands the challenges our community faces, and her support is already making a difference.
This partnership is a powerful reminder that when local organisations come together, real, lasting change can happen.
Thank you, Specsavers — we can’t wait to see the impact we’ll make together!
