Good News- Update on Ben’s story

We recently shared Ben’s story, one of the people working with Bec, our Recovery Worker. At the time of sharing he was on a waiting list for supported housing but we’re delighted that he has now moved into a new home with Derventio.

Pathways in August

In August, Pathways supported 257 different people who were homeless or at risk of homelessness. We were able to successfully support 32 people into new housing.

For a lot of the people I work with, who suffer with addictions, keeping themselves busy and distracted from their negative thoughts has been a huge struggle for them. To help them with this I have been putting together some distraction packs.
Good News- Ainsley’s Story

Ainsley, a man in his 50s had been living with his partner but when the relationship broke down, the tenancy was in her name he had nowhere to go so found himself sleeping rough.
Graffiti Recovery Event 2024

As part of Recovery Month, today we hosted a Graffiti Recovery Event. It was a celebration for people in recovery and we had people from other projects in the Growing Recovery in Derbyshire Network join us for the event.
DRP Partnership

As part of our Paths to Recovery project, Pathways has been working closely with Steve, the new Derbyshire Recovery Partnership (DRP) Rough Sleeper Worker.
SMART Recovery

We’ve recently taken out a licence to become trained in and deliver SMART Recovery sessions. SMART Recovery helps participants decide whether they have a problem, builds up their motivation to change and offers a set of proven tools and techniques to support recovery.
